SQL Power

WAPAC is based on the Microsoft SQL Server® Database Engine. Microsoft SQL Server® or the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE 2000) offers flexibility, uniformity and superior integration.

This means increased power, speed, and improved networking capabilities. Microsoft SQL Server® provides self-maintaining database routines that extend WAPAC's reliability beyond its already impressive dependability to offer a rock solid access control platform.

Flexibility and expandability are WAPAC's hallmarks. It is the ideal access control system for a single building or an entire complex. Additionally, many WAPAC systems have been expanded beyond their local area to become complete systems separated by many miles from the WAPAC host computer. Powerful, Top of the Line Access Control System

While WAPAC provides all the high end features you would expect from any powerful access control system, it is also full of handy simple tools. For example- automatic UDF import/export for sending cardholder data to WAPAC from your existing cafeteria software, human resource software, or any other software capable of producing simple text fileseven word processors. WAPAC recognizes the data and automatically imports it with no action required by the user. WAPAC can also produce these simple UDF text files automatically and send them to any software capable of reading text – a simple way to synchronize an entire loop of databases.

Fully Networkable

A WAPAC host computer communicates with remote WAPAC workstations and CC1065 communication controllers via your existing LAN/WAN using TCP/IP protocol – greatly simplifying wiring. A CC1065 controller can be installed anywhere on the network and WAPAC may be fully administered by any computer on the network running WAPAC Workstation software. No network? No problem. WAPAC also communicates using a direct RS232 connection or ordinary dial-up telephone lines.
