Introducing “Tracker”

Synergistics’ “Tracker” software is available for use with our Client/Server software system, WAPAC. By using this add-on module and related hardware, portable assets can be tied to access card holders and protected from theft. 

“Tracker” is the first system to combine asset tracking programs within the framework of a large-scale, full-featured access control and building management system, identifying property entering or leaving secured areas and verifying that the person carrying the property is authorized to do so.

Here’s How It Works

“Tracker” programming and databases are resident in the WAPAC host computer where they are entered, stored and edited for system use. These databases are downloaded to system controllers where they operate autonomously without further communication with the computer.

When assets are detected leaving an area without proper authorization, an alarm is sent to the computer where the action is logged and appropriate action is taken.

Asset management and access control equipment can integrate in the same system and even in the same controller, making it both easy to use and economical to install.
